West Indies outclassed Nepal after winning the game by 101 runs in the ninth match of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023 in group A as Shai Hope and Nicholas Pooran scored centuries to help their team post a target of 340 at Harare Sports Club on Thursday.
Meanwhile, in the 10th game in group A, Netherlands comfortably defeated USA after chasing the target of 212 runs in the 43rd over as the Dutch’s captain and wicketkeeper Scott Edwards remained unbeaten after scoring 67 off 60 at the Harare Sports Club on the same day.
Here is how the points table looks like after today’s matches.
Group A
Group B
The top three teams from each group will move on to the Super Six stage, where they will only play the sides they did not meet in the group stage.
All points won in the group stage will be carried over to the Super Six stage apart from those gained against the teams that fail to make it to the Super Six stage. The finalists will both progress to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
